MINING OPERATIONS

The Calvert Mine is a 19-million ton surface lignite mine adjacent to the Twin Oaks Power Station. The Calvert Mine has 101 full time employees and provides 100% of its output to Twin Oaks. 

SCA Pile is a 3-million ton waste coal pile adjacent to the Sunnyside Cogen. SCA Pile holds refuse from the nearly 100-year-old Sunnyside Mine, which closed in 1999. SCA Pile provides 100% of its output to Sunnyside Cogen.

Star Point Pile is a 1-millon ton waste coal pile that provides 100% of its output to Sunnyside Cogen.​
